Meet The Team
Dr. Saasouh is a Board-certified Anesthesiologist and published researcher with training and degrees from the American University of Beirut (2008, 2012), the Cleveland Clinic (2017, 2018), and the Detroit Medical Center (2021). He holds research and leadership roles at NorthStar Anesthesia, the Detroit Medical Center, Wayne State University, and Michigan State University.
Dr. Saasouh serves as an academic peer-reviewer for a number of high-impact medical journals. He is an active member of professional societies such as the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Michigan Society of Anesthesiologists, the Outcomes Research Consortium, the Physician Innovation Network, BrainX, and the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research.
Dr. Saasouh has served in clinical, research, and innovation advisory roles at Edwards Lifesciences, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Doc2Doc Lending, Doximity, RIWI, Medicine Forward, the Healthcare Reinvention Collaborative, and Becton, Dickinson and Company. He is the founder of Ether Innovations LLC and Z8 Innovations LLC and the co-founder of the CaPER initiative.
